Parts Work & Astrology: Learning to bridge spirit & matter through the emotional body is a workshop that will provide you with knowledge and practices that support a more secure and generative relationship with yourself, your birth chart*, and the world. 

What is parts work?

Parts work is the work of ending the war within your own psyche. It is a powerful tool for self awakening, healing, and mastering the emotional body.

Parts work is an umbrella term to describe all modalities and practices of emotional healing that hold the perspective that our psyche is made up of parts or that it is fragmented. You might be familiar with the term Internal Family Systems, which is a therapeutic modality for parts work that has its own language to describe various parts of self and how they relate. 

When we experience trauma—even just the trauma of being born or conditioned as a human being—it creates separation, splintering, and fragmentation. We essentially become a collection of parts within that have differing needs, desires, and even beliefs. This is actually quite logical if you consider how this is true for everything around us, including our own physical body, which is a collection of various organs and systems all working in a certain flow to maintain our function as one body. In other words, we are one and we are many.

Parts work is alchemical work, it is shadow work, and it is focused on Love. All parts work practices seek to create integration by offering more cohesion, unity, and wholeness between our parts by offering conscious compassionate awareness from our loving witness within which goes by many names—the higher self, our essential nature, Soul, Spirit, Self, Atman, Buddha nature, etc. 

By combining parts work with how we approach our astrological birth chart, we can experience new levels of depth, connection, understanding, and cohesion regarding our sacred place within the cosmos.

No matter how well you believe you know yourself right now, the alchemical influence of these practices are a doorway into more substantial integration and peace for those who are curious enough to walk through.

* It is not necessary to know everything about your birth chart in order to learn from this workshop but it will help to have some working knowledge such as what the planets represent. You can get a copy of my ebook The Planets: An Archetypal Guide seen below if you’d like a foundation for starting out that is from my perspective.

The Heart Activation is a guided audio meditation that is a combination of methods that are simple but deep, embracing yet expansive, just like the nature of the heart.

The audio has two distinct sections that you can listen to in sequence or on their own. I suggest giving yourself 20-30 minutes of time in an environment where you feel safe to do this. There are invitations to speak things out loud at different parts but this can also be done internally.
